Spilanthes Acmella Extract (Paracress) -

is an extract of the plant Acmella Oleracea (Paracress), whose active part is called Spilanthol. Acmella Oleracea or Spilanthes Acmella is a medicinal plant known as "Jambú" and comes from South America. For a long time it has been used in traditional medicine to treat toothache, headaches, asthma and rheumatism. A few years ago, scientists then made a groundbreaking discovery that the plant with the yellow, petal-shaped flowers contains a substance that possesses considerable muscle-relaxing properties even at low concentrations - the spilanthol. The muscle-relaxing mechanism, which slows down the micro-contractions and the positive effects on the collagen network, makes Paracress Extract so effective against facial expressions. Used externally, Spilanthol can penetrate the skin and relax the skin muscles like a gentle local anesthetic. Due to the reduced muscle tension, the skin surface is immediately visibly tightened and smoothed.
